கஸ்டர்டு ஜெல்லோ டெஸெர்ட் – Custard Jello Dessert
Custard jello dessert is a perfect dessert for every party. Most of the kids like jello. Custard with fruit mix is an adults favorite. The combination of jello and fruit custard is an ultimate dessert. The presentation of the dessert’s layer attracts everyone. I prepared this dessert for a my daughter’s 10th birthday party, I received lot’s of positive comments and it was the highlights of the party.
Ingredients for Custard Jello Dessert
Custard powder – 3 tbs
Apple – 1/2 (chopped) / 1/4 cup
Bannana – 1 (chopped) / 1/4 cup
Mango – 1/4 (chopped) (optional)
Milk – 1.25 + .25 cups
Sugar – 1/3 cup
Salt – pinch
Jello – 3 tbs
Boiling water – 1 cup
For Decoration
White chocolate shredded
Bakery cherry
Directions
Custard Mixture
Take custard powder in a bowl and add 1/4 cup milk then mix without any lumps.
Boil 1.25 cups of milk by adding sugar and salt until raising.
Reduce the flame and add the custard milk mixture little by little.
Stir the mixture without leaving hands.
Stop the flame in 30 seconds or once the mixture reach the semi solid consistency (refer picture).
Transfer the custard into another bowl and let it cools down to room temperature.
Beat the custard and add the chopped fruits and mix well.
Jello Preparation
Take jello powder in a bowl and pour boiling water.
Mix well and let the mixture cools down to room temperature.
Arrangement
Pour the custard mixture into the serving container (as shown in picture).
Pour the jello mixture over the custard.
Place the dessert in refrigerator until jello fixed.
Make sure that the container kept straight in refrigerator.
Decoration
Drizzle some white chocolate over the jello.
Place one cherry per container.
Custard jello dessert ready.
Serve the custard jello dessert with spoon.
Notes
I used vanilla flavor custard for this recipe, you may use whatever flavor you like.
I used orange jello for this recipe, you may use any sweet flavour jello for this recipe. Lemon jello will give sour taste, so avoid that for this dessert.
Whatever seasonal fruits may be used for this recipe.
Don’t prepare custard so thick or watery.
Decoration is totally optional, according to your taste you may alter the decoration.
Store the dessert in refrigerator and use it with in 2 days otherwise it will lose the taste and look.

Take custard powder in bowl

Boil 1.25 cups milk, add 1/3 cup sugar 
Add pinch of salt 
Bring to boil 
Reduce the flame to low after raising 
Pour custard powder mix 
Stop flame in 30 seconds 
Change the custard mix into different bowl and let it cool down
Mix the fruits

Beat the custard mix little 

Add all the fruits 
Mix well 
Custard mixture ready
Prepare Jello

Boil 1 cup water 
Take jello powder in a bowl 
Pour boiling water 
Mix well and let it cool down to room temperature
Arrangement

Place container 
Pour custard mixture 
Fill custard mixture half way only 

Pour jello on top 
Layer stays without jello mixing in the custard mixture 
Store this in refrigerator until jello fixed
Decorate

Shred white chocolate using shredder 
White chocolate swirls 
Place the swirls on top of jello 

Place one cherry on top 
Layered fruit custard jello 
Serve the dessert in style with a spoon
