Sweet Boondhi

பூந்தி (Sweet Boondhi)

Sweet Boondhi is my kids favorite sweet. I’m so happy to share this recipe as my 200th post here. It is very easy to prepare boondi at home. This boondi is the base for preparing laddu as well. This boondi can be a quick evening snack item because it is easy to prepare or can be prepared for any festival because it is rich. Here is the recipe for you.

Gram flour – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 1/4 cup
Water for syrup (enough to immerse)
Saffron – 6 strings
Cashews – 1 tbs

Switch off the flame.

Prepare Boondi

Heat oil in a frying pan.
Pour the batter through boonthi laddle.
Hold the laddle little above the frying pan.
Take out the boondi before it gets crispy.
