ரவா லட்டு (Rava Ladoo)

Rava ladoo is an easy recipe to make at home for an instant evening snack idea. I used to prepare this laddu to take it to temple once a month and my friends always likes it. Here is the recipe for you.

Ingredients for Rava ladoo

Rava – 2 cup
Sugar – 1 1/4 cup
Cahew nuts – 2 tbsp
Dry grapes – 2 tbsp
Milk – 1/4 cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Cardamom – crushed

Directions

Roast the cashew nuts and dry grapes with ghee.
Leave the ghee in the pan and take only the cashew nuts and dry grapes out.
Now roast the rava in the pan with ghee until mild golden color.
Let the rava to cool down; meanwhile powder the sugar in the mixie/blender.
Pour the powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.
Now grind the rava in the blender for just a minute.
Add this rava to the mixing bowl, then add the dry ingredients and mix well.
Now add the milk little by little and stop when you can make ball shape.
Make all the mix into laddu. Rava ladoo ready.

Notes

Depending on your taste you can change sugar level.
This ladoo can stay out for 4-5 days in airtight container.
You can add dry roast coconut to this recipe but the self life of the ladoo gets short.
You can use tablespoon or any round shape spoon to take even amount of rava for similar size lattus.
