பால்கோவா (Traditional Paalkova)
Paalkova is very famous in Srivilliputhur. Palkova is one of the traditional sweets of TamilNadu. It is very easy to make palkova if we follow the steps. This is also called pal peda in Rajapalayam area.
Ingredients for Paalkova
Milk – 1 litre
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Directions
Take milk in a big pan and bring to boil.
After the milk reaches boil stage, change the flame into medium.
When the milk reduced to half, add sugar and stir occasionally.
Keep stirring the milk until it reaches the consistency.
Transfer the palkova into a wide bowl and let it cool down.
Palkova ready.
Notes

Palkova is also used in ice cream, jigarthanda, and many other sweets.
You can keep this palkova outside for 3 days.
Store it in refrigerator for longer shelf life, but it tastes better if you serve without keeping it in fridge.
