கிச்சடி பக்கோடா (Kichadi Pakoda)
Kichadi pakoda is a simple snack made from leftover rava kichadi. My family always wish to eat this pakoda but I never have leftover rava kichadi. So I made some rava khichadi specially for this pakoda.
Ingredients for Kichadi Pakoda
Rava kichadi – 1 cup
Oil for frying
Directions
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Make lumps of kichadi of your preferred size.
Drop khichadi lumps one by one into warm oil.
Don’t turn the pakora until color changes.
Keep the flame in medium for best crispy result.
Take out the pakkoda when color fully changes, so that it will be crispy.
Place the pakoda in a paper towel.
கிச்சடி பக்கோடா ready.
Notes
Make sure that kichadi is not hot to prepare this pakora.
You may prepare this pakoda with rava upma (without veggies) also.
This pakoda will consume more oil, so drain the oil with strainer spoon for little bit more time.
For a tea time snack or on a rainy day, this pakoda will be a perfect match.
