கோதுமை தோசை (Instant Wheat Dosa)
Instant Wheat dosa is a South Indian Tiffin which is made by whole wheat flour without the need for fermentation. Whenever I am running out of dosa batter, this wheat dosa will help me. It is easy to prepare, less time to cook and also healthy option. We can prepare this dosa soft or crispy by adjusting water consistency.
Makes 3 Crispy Gothumai Dosai
Ingredients for Instant Wheat Dosa
Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
Water – 1.5. cup
Salt as needed
Oil as needed
Directions
Add wheat flour and salt in a mixing bowl.
Pour 1/2 cup of water and mix well.
Make sure no lumps formed.
Now add one more cup of water and mix well.
Dosa batter is ready now.
Heat a dosa pan in high flame.
Once the pan is hot, change the flame into medium.
Transfer one scoop of batter in a small bowl.
Pour the batter over the heated dosa pan in a circular shape.
Add 1 tsp of oil over the dosa.
Flip the dosa to other side when color changes.
After completely cooked take out the dosa.
Wheat dosa ready.
Serve the dosa with sambar and chutney.
Notes
Don’t pour the batter with laddle and spread, just pour the batter and allow that to spread automatically.
You don’t need to add rava or rice flour to this recipe.
To make Soft dosa, use the following combination to make batter.
For 1 cup of wheat flour, add 1 cup water for soft dosa.
