சிக்கன் வறுவல் (Chicken Fry Dry)
Chicken Fry Dry is a unique recipe that involves several steps to complete but it is worth the time preparing this recipe. Even though multiple steps involved, it is easy to prepare.
Ingredients for Chicken Fry Dry
Boneless chicken – 1/2 kg
Pepper powder – 1 tbs
Cumin powder – 1 tbs
Corn flour – 1tbs
All purpose flour/ Maida – 1 tbs
Chilli powder – 1/2 tbs (optional)
Lemon juice – 1 tbs
Oil – 2 – 3 tbs
Curd – 1/4 cup
Salt as needed
Tempering ingredients
Curry leaves – 1 spring
Green chilli – 2
Directions
Process 1:
Wash the chicken with turmeric water.
Slice the chicken into strips.
Take the chicken in a bowl and add maida, corn flour, pepper powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, salt, lemon juice.
Mix everything well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Process 2:
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken.
After one side got golden color flip the chicken and fry other side too.
Take out the chicken in a kitchen paper towel to remove excess oil.
Process 3:
Take curd in a bowl and whisk little bit.
Transfer the chicken to the curd and give a good mix.
Make sure the curd spread all over the chicken.
Process 4:
Take the same pan which we fried chicken with 1 tsp of oil.
Add curry leaves and split green chilli into the pan.
After that add the chicken with curd.
Stir the chicken until the curd completely absorb by the chicken.
Dry Chicken fry ready.
