சீஸ் தோசை (Cheese Dosa)
Cheese dosa is one of the easiest breakfast or dinner. This recipe needs very few ingredients and also it’s a good filling food. Whenever my son comes after playing outside, he ask for some heavy food. This is one of his favorite food during that time. In this recipe, I use red chilli sauce. We may alternate this with homemade red chilli chutney as well.
For one Dosa:
Ingredients for Cheese Dosa
Dosa batter – 1 scoop
Red chilli sauce – 1/2 tbs
Shredded cheese – 1/4 cup
Oil – 1/2 tsp
Directions
Heat dosa pan and keep the flame medium high.
Pour one scoop of dosa batter in the heated pan.
Spread the batter into round shape.
Pour the red chilli sauce and spread over the dosa.
Drizzle the shredded cheese over the chilli sauce.
Pour oil around the dosa.
Spread the melting cheese over the dosai.
After the cheese melted completely, fold the dosai.
Take out the dosa and switch off the flame.
Cheese dosai ready.
Serve the dosa with poondu podi / chutney.
Notes
I used blended cheese (taco blend – cheddar and Monterey Jack), you may use any type of cheese.
If you don’t want spicy taste, use ketchup instead of hot / red chili sauce.
Keeping the flame medium will allow the cheese to melt and avoid the dosa getting burn.
