ஆப்பிள் கிரிஸ்ப் – Apple Crisp
Apple crisp is a quick and easy dessert (treat). The perfect fall dessert made with juicy apples, cinnamon and an oat topping. I think this is the right time to post this recipe. After a long time we went to a perfect farm and got freshly picked apples from tree this year. My kids finished all the farm picked apples very fast. I could only save 3 apples from kids to prepare this recipe. My kids were roaming around the kitchen when I bake this recipe and eagerly waiting to taste the recipe. The output came very well and so delicious. We finished the whole recipe immediately. I’m happy to share this recipe with you all.
Ingredients for Apple Crisp
Apple Filling
Apple – 3
Granulated sugar – 1 tbs
Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1/2 tbs
Crisp Topping
Oats – 1/3 cup
All purpose flour – 1/3 cup
Cinnamon powder – 1/4 tsp
Butter – 1/4 cup (4 tbs)
Pecans – 1/4 cup
Brown sugar – 1/4 cup
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Directions
Prepare for Apple Filling
Peel the apple skin and chop into small pieces.
Pre-heat oven into 375°F and grease 8*8 square pan then add the chopped apples.
Add cinnamon powder, 1 tbs sugar, lemon juice and mix everything well.
Prepare Topping
Take a mixing bowl and add oats, all purpose flour, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon powder and salt.
Crush the cold butter by rubbing in the side of the bowl.
Mix everything well until resembles the coarse mixture.
Sprinkle the coarse mixture over the apple mixture in a baking pan.
Baking
Place the pan into the pre-heated oven.
Bake until the crisp topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly, about 30-35 minutes.
Allow to cool for few minutes.
Apple Crisp ready.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream on top.
