Vendaikkai Vathal

வெண்டைக்காய் வத்தல் (Vendaikkai Vathal)

Ingredients

Lady’s fingers (Vendaikkai) – 1/4 kg
Curd – 3/4 cup
Salt as needed

Directions

Cut the vendaikkai into big pieces and spread it in a big plate
Let the vendaikkai dry for at least 8hrs (no need to dry in the sun)
Take curd, salt and 1/4 cup water in a blender and blend it
Take a mixing bowl then add the partial dried vendaikkai and curd
Mix everything until well coated, let the mix soak for over night
Again spread the soaked vendaikkai in a plate and dry under sun
When the vendaikkai dried completely store that in a airtight container
Vendaikkai vathal is ready
Fry the vathal in a low flame
