Traditional Rice cooking (வடிச்ச சாதம்)
Ingredients
Rice – 1 cup
Water – 4 cups
salt – 2 tbsp (Optional)
Directions
Take a pot and add 4 cups of water.
Bring the water to boil.
Wash the rice in a separate bowl.
When you see bubbles in the water, add rice and salt.
Check whether the rice is cooked by smash the rice with finger.
When the rice cooked, close the pot with a lid.
Strain the excess water by keeping the pot in a corner of the floor.
Leave it for about 15 to 20 mins.
