Traditional Filter Coffee is very famous in TamilNadu and it is easy to make it at home. This is also called as kumbakonam degree coffee.

Directions
Assemble the filter and add the coffee powder in the top compartment.
Boil the water and pour the hot water on the top compartment and then close the lid.
Allow the water to drain completely and settle in the lower compartment.
Heat the milk with sugar separately.
Now open the filter’s lower compartment and pour half of the decoction in a coffee cup and remaining half in another cup.
Then add warm/hot milk into the cup.
Now filter coffee is ready.
Notes
I used whole milk because this traditional coffee tastes best with whole milk only.
I used Narasus Udhayam Coffee powder. You can use any type of Indian filter coffee powder.
