Red Velvet Marble Cake
Red velvet marble cake is a combination of chocolate, vanilla and red velvet cake. The traditional Red velvet cake’s ingredients include butter milk, butter, cocoa, vinegar, beet root or red food coloring and flour. Red velvet cake is my all time favorite cake, especially the combination of vanilla, chocolate and red velvet is a perfect cake for Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients for Red Velvet Marble Cake
For Batter
All purpose flour – 1.5 cup
Butter – 2 sticks (225g)
Sugar – 3/4 cup
Egg – 5 (yolks)
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Milk powder – 2 tbs
Condensed milk – 3 tbs
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Egg – 5 (whites)
Sugar – 1/4 cup
For Red Velvet
Yogurt – 2 tbs
Coco powder – 1 tsp
Red velvet emulco – 2 tsp/ red food colour – 1 tsp
For Chocolate
Coco powder – 2 tbs
Chocolate emulco – 2 tsp
Directions
Pre-preparation
Keep the butter and egg in room temperature for 1 hour.
Grind the sugar in mixie jar to fine powder.
Separate the egg yolks and whites.
Egg Yolk Beating
Take butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Beat them until well mixed.
Add yolks one by one and start beating.
Pour condensed milk and vanilla extract and beat again.
Sift milk powder and baking powder directly in the mixing bowl.
Sift the flour also in bowl then mix with spatula.
Egg White Beating
Start beating the egg whites by adding sugar little by little.
Keep beating the egg whites until fluffy.
Batter Mixing
Add beaten egg whites little by little to the beaten yolk mixture.
Mix everything until completely mixed.
Separate the batter equally into three bowls.
Red Velvet Batter
Beat curd little bit and pour to one bowl.
Sift coco powder and add red velvet emulco.
Mix everything well.
Chocolate Batter
Sift coco powder and add chocolate emulco in second bowl.
Mix everything well.
Vanilla Batter
Add 2 tablespoons of water in the third bowl and mix well.
Baking
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Apply butter all over the baking pan.
Pour one scoop of vanilla batter then pour scoop of red velvet batter then chocolate batter.
Pour all the batter in the same way, in same order.
Finally gently tap the pan little bit and let the batter to settle all over the pan.
Use a tooth pick and make swirl designs over the cake.
Place the cake in preheated oven.
Bake the cake for 60 minutes or until completely cooked.
Let the cake cools down completely.
Gently flip the pan, cake comes out easily.

Notes
Three cake batter must be in same consistency, then only you will get the texture.
If you’re not adding emulco add equal amount of water to that batter.
I used heart shape pan for this recipe, you may use 8 inch round pan too.

Prepare Batter

Take sugar and butter in a mixing bowl 
Beat the mix 

Add egg yellow one by one 
Beat again 

Pour condensed milk 
Also pour vanilla extract

Sift milk powder and baking power 

Sift flour 

Mix with spatula 
Everything mixed well 
Take egg white and sugar in another bowl 
Beat the mix 
Continue beat until fluffy 
Fluffy white with sugar 
Now add this fluffy white in bowl 
Batter ready 
Split equally in three bowls
Mix color

Add curd in one bowl 
Also add coco powder 
Pour red velvet emulco 

Mix gently with spoon 
Sift coco powder in another bowl 

Gently mix well 
All three batter ready
Prepare for Baking

Coat the pan with butter 
Place one scoop of vanilla batter first 
Spread gently 
Now add one scoop of red velvet batter 
Again spread gently 
Next add one scoop of chocolate batter 
Spread gently on every layer 
Continue adding until done 

All batter is now set 
Use a toothpick and make design 

Now pan is ready with designed batter
Bake Cake

Pre-heat oven 320 F or 160 C and set timer for 1hr 
Place the pan inside oven 
Halfway through 
Almost done 
Insert toothpick to see if done, take out 
After it cools down, take cake our from pan 
Marble cake ready 
See texture inside cake 
Design formed well
