மதுரை கறி தோசை (Madurai Kari Dosa)
Madurai Kari dosa is an Indian pancake stuffed with a delicious spicy mutton over egg filling. Kari dosa is famous in Madurai Konar Mess. This Kari dosa is served with salna that is so yummy. I never had this taste anywhere else. kari dosa is an easy to make special recipe. My family loves it and hope you will enjoy it as well
Makes 4 kari dosa
Ingredients for Madurai Kari Dosa
Dosa batter – 4 scoops
Egg – 2
Dry mutton – 1 cup
Oil and salt as needed
Directions
Heat a dosa pan (griddle) in medium flame
Crack one egg and beat well with little bit salt
Take the dosa batter in a bowl with laddle
When the pan heated well wipe that with a cloth or paper towel
Pour one laddle of batter and spread a little (thick)
Pour the beaten egg spread over the batter carefully
Add 1/4 cup mutton pieces over the egg
You can add masala as well like in restaurant (see pic for difference)
Press gently with spatula
Pour oil around the dosa
Flip the dosa to other side when the color changes to brown
After 30 seconds to a minute, take out the dosa
Kari dosa ready
Follow the same steps for other 3 dosas
Serve kari dosa with salna or coconut chutney
Notes
Don’t use flat dosa pan for this recipe because, it can’t keep the egg inside the dosa
Any type of dry mutton will go well with this recipe; Chop the mutton into small pieces for dry mutton gravy
Wipe griddle each time before making each dosa
If you want, you can use less mutton per dosa (1 tbsp) as well
