பன்னீர் தோசை – Paneer Cheese Dosa
Paneer cheese dosa is a good, healthy option for breakfast. Paneer is a good source of protein, rich in calcium, contains essential vitamins and minerals. It supports digestive health, promotes heart health, boosts immunity and its low in carbohydrates. Kids love this Paneer dosai and will never say no in the busy morning day!
Ingredients for Paneer Cheese Dosa
Paneer – 200g
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato – 1 (chopped)
Garlic – 4-6 pods (minced)
Oil – 3 tbs + for dosa
Chill powder – 2 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Green chilli – 2
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Cilantro – 1 tbs
Cheese as needed
Dosa batter
Salt as needed
Directions
Prepare Paneer Burji / stuffing
Heat 3 tbs oil in a pan.
Add onion, garlic, green chillies.
Saute them until the onion turns golden brown.
Add chopped tomatoes and saute until mushy.
Now, add turmeric powder, garam masala, chilli powder, cumin powder and salt.
Mix everything well together.
Shred the paneer with shredder in big hole.
Add the shredded paneer and reduce the flame to low.
Mix the paneer with the spices until well combined and cook the paneer for 2 minutes.
Paneer burji/ stuffing ready.
Prepare Dosa
Heat dosa pan in medium high flame.
Adjust the batter consistency suitable for dosa.
Scoop the batter and make dosa.
Cook both sides and turn the flame into low.
Add cheese then add paneer stuffing.
On top, add some more cheese.
Close/ roll the dosa as shown in the picture.
Stop the flame and cut the dosa into pieces.
Serve the dosa.
Notes
According to your taste, adjust the amount of cheese and paneer stuffing.
If you’re adding more cheese, remember, it will dominate the paneer flavour.
