Homemade Potato Fries using Air Fryer

Potato Fries

Potato fries using air fryer is an easy recipe. Traditional potato fries takes more time and oil to cook. But this recipe requires less time and less oil as well.
This is my son’s recipe. He always finds simple recipes to cook by himself. Whenever he wants to eat snacks but I’m not ready to cook, he tries these recipes. One evening, he tried this recipe for tea time and it came out very well. So I asked him to do it again and captured all the images while he cooks.

Ingredients for Potato Fries

Russet Potato – 3
Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
Cayenne pepper – 1/2 tsp
Olive oil – 1 tbs
Salt  as needed

Directions

Peel the skin off the potatoes.
Slice the potatoes into thin strips.
Add the potato strips in a bowl of water and let it soak for about 30 minutes.
Rinse the potatoes and drain the water.
Dry the potatoes in a dry cloth until completely dry.
Now add the potatoes into a mixing pan.
Add the olive oil, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and salt.
Mix everything well together.
Spread the potatoes on the air fryer tray.
Turn on the air fryer to 350 for 10 minutes.
Open the air fryer and flip the potato stripes.
And cook again for 5-7 minutes or until crispy.
Potato fries ready.
Serve the fries with ketchup or your favorite sauce.

Notes

According to your taste, you can use different spices like Italian seasoning, etc.
