கார்லிக்/ பூண்டு நூடுல்ஸ் (Garlic Noodles)
Garlic Noodles is my family’s all time favorite recipe. This is an easy to prepare recipe. Minced garlic gives a good taste and nice flavor. I prefer bell pepper, onion and green onion for this recipe. I avoid sugar, vinegar and aginamoto because it is unhealthy.
Ingredients for Garlic Noodles
Noodles – 1 piece
Garlic – 1 tbs (minced)
Onion – 1 (shredded lengthwise)
Green bell pepper – 1/4 (chopped)
Red chilli flakes – 1 tsp
Soy sauce – 1 tbs
Green chili sauce – 1 tbs
Green onion – 1 tbs
Hot sauce – 1 tbs
Oil – 1.5 tbs
Salt as needed
Directions
Cook the noodles in a pot by adding salt for 5 minutes.
Filter the noodles and drizzle little bit of oil.
Spread the oil thoroughly into the noodles.
Heat oil in a wok or pan in medium flame and add minced garlic.
Fry the garlic until golden brown.
Add the sliced onion and chopped bell pepper.
Sauté them a little (don’t cook completely).
Add chili flakes, salt and mix well.
Pour all the sauce – each 1 tbs and give a good mix.
Add the cooked noodles and mix carefully with tong.
Switch off the flame once it is mixed properly.
Garnish some chopped green onions.
Garlic Noodles ready.
Serve the noodles in a bowl.
Notes
Don’t over cook the noodles and veggies.
Adding little bit of oil to the cooked noodles removes stickiness.
You may add little bit of sugar to the recipe.
I used veg Hakka noodles.
