மீன் வறுவல் (Fish Fry)
Fish fry is a tasty non-veg side dish. King fish is one of the best choice for frying. There are different types of frying like pan frying, deep oil frying, air frying. I usually fry in the pan. From childhood days l am addicted to fried fish and I just can eat this as meal. My son also likes fried fish and his choices are salmon and cat fish.
Ingredients for Fish Fry
Fish – 8 pieces
Chilli powder – 3 tbs
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tbs
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt as needed
Directions
Clean the fish slices and rinse with water.
Add all the ingredients except fish in a bowl.
Mix everything well.
Pour water little if needed to form paste consistency.
Apply the spice paste over the fish slices evenly.
Also apply on the side of fish as well.
Dry the spices in partial sunlight.
Heat oil in a pan and add the fish slices.
Keep the flame medium low and fry for 3-5 minutes.
Flip the fish slice into other side and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Take out the fried fish in a paper towel.

Notes
Don’t fry the fish in high flame.
Let the spices to dry and fry after that.
I used king fish for the recipe, you may use any type of fish.
