சிக்கன் ட்ரை (Dry Chicken Curry)
Dry Chicken Curry is a favorite for anyone who likes chicken dish. It is very simple to prepare this chicken. I prepared with 1kg chicken. This is a beginner recipe.
Ingredients for Dry Chicken Curry
Chicken – 1 kg
Onion – 2
Tomato – 2
Garlic – 6 cloves
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Oil – 2 tbsp
Cilantro for garnishing
Salt as needed
Spices
Masala – 1 tbs
Chilli powder – 1 tbs
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1 pinch
Directions
Clean the chicken well and cut into medium size pieces.
Chop the onion and tomato.
Peel the skin of ginger, garlic and make paste.
Take a big pan and pour oil.
Add onion and ginger garlic paste, stir the mix well and fry until onion turn into golden color.
Now add the chopped tomatoes cook it until mushy.
Then add chicken and all the spices and mix everything well.
Cover the pan with lid and cook it in a medium flame.
Stir the curry occasionally to avoid the curry stick in the bottom.
Change the flame to low when the chicken fully cooked.
After 5 minutes switch off the flame.
Garnish the curry with chopped cilantro.
Note
Don’t use sweet onion for this recipe, it will spoil the spiciness.
