கார்ன்பிளேக்ஸ் மிக்ஸர் (Cornflakes Mixer)
Cornflakes mixer is a very simple and easy to prepare recipe. In my school days this mixer is a favorite snack from my school canteen. When surprise guest arrives to your home, you can prepare this simultaneously with tea.
Ingredients for Cornflakes Mixer
Cornflakes/ corn poha – 3 cups
Peanuts/ ground nut – 3/4 cup (dry roasted)
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp + frying
Curry leaves – 1 spring
Salt as needed
Directions
Heat oil in a frying pan in medium flame.
When oil is ready, add cornflakes little by little.
Once fried, take out the cornflakes and place that on a paper towel.
Finish all the batch in the same way.
Fry the curry leaves in the same frying pan.
Take a big mixing pan and heat oil.
Switch off the flame and add chilli powder, salt then mix well.
Add the roasted peanuts and stir well.
Finally add all the fried cornflakes.
Stir until everything well coated with spices.
Cornflakes mixer ready.
Serve the mixer with tea or coffee.
Notes
I prepared a simple version of cornflakes mixer, you may add split channa dal, cashews, whatever you want.
You can use fried peanuts too for this recipe.
