சிக்கன் சேக் கபாப் (Chicken Seekh Kabab)
Chicken Seekh Kabab is a famous recipe made from minced chicken added with chopped onions and selected masala shaped onto skewers and grilled to perfection. This recipe makes a perfect starter of every occasion and can be made easily at home. I have pictures added for cooking at campsite or at home in tawa / dosa pan.
Ingredients for Chicken Seekh Kabab
Ground chicken – 250 g
Onion – 1 medium size
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbs
Green chilli – 2
Bread crumbs – 3 tbs
Butter – 3 tbs
Garam masala – 2 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Cilantro – 1/4 cup
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Salt as needed
Directions
Take a food processor or mixer and add onion, green chilli, cilantro.
Blend it for a minute and then add ginger garlic paste and ground chicken.
Again start the food processor until they are well mixed.
Transfer the mix into a mixing bowl.
Melt the butter and pour into the mixing bowl.
Add bread crumbs, garam masala, chilli powder, salt and lemon juice.
Mix everything well.
Take skewers and cut into half.
Take small amount of chicken mix and make it into cylindrical shape.
Insert the skewer into the cylindrical shaped meat.
Take a pan or skillet and apply some butter and heat it.
Place the kebab in the buttered pan.
After one side done turn that to other side.
Take the chicken kabab out when fully cooked.
Chicken kabab ready.
Notes
I used outdoor grill but can be done in stove top as well.
