சிக்கன் ஆம்லெட் – Chicken Omelette
Chicken omelette is chicken stuffed side dish. This is easy to prepare and take less time to cook. We may use leftover chicken for this recipe. This stuffed omelette goes well with non-veg curry and rice. Chicken omelette is best option for breakfast too.
Ingredients for Chicken Omelette
Egg – 3 to 4
Chicken – 200g
Masala – 1/2 tbs
Chilli powder – 1/2 tbs + 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tbs
Onion – 1/4 cup
Green chilli – 2 (chopped)
Cilantro – 1 tbs (chopped)
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp+ 1 pinch
Oil – 1 tbs + 2 tsp
Salt as needed
Directions
Cooking Chicken
Clean and cut the chicken into strips.
Heat a pan with 1 tbs of oil and add ginger garlic paste.
Add turmeric, masala and chilli powder and salt.
Sauté the chicken in medium flame for a minute.
Cover the pan and cook until completely cooked.
Prepare Omelette mix
Crack the eggs and add salt to that.
Beat the eggs until well blended.
Add chopped onion, green chilli and cilantro.
Also add turmeric powder and chili powder.
Pour little water now.
Mix everything well.
Omelette mix ready.
Prepare Omelette
Heat pan with 2 tsp oil.
Rotate the pan and spread the oil all over the pan.
Pour the beaten egg mixture.
Add the cooked chicken over the egg mixture.
Press the chicken into the omelette.
Cook the omelette in medium flame for a minute.
Transfer the chicken omelette to a plate.
Flip the omelette to the pan and cook again for a minute.
Take out the omelette.
Chicken Omelette ready.
Serve the omelette as a side or breakfast.
Notes
You may pull the cooked chicken (shred) and add to omelette.
Chop the green chilli into very small pieces that tastes good.
