அவகேடோ டோஸ்ட் – Avocado Toast
Avocado toast is creamy, crisp and so satisfying food. It’s a delicious and simple breakfast, snack or a light meal! It’s best consumed immediately. Avocados contains a lot of heart-healthy unsaturated fats, as well as a good amount of fiber. Research has shown that people who eat avocados every day have higher levels of HDL, also know as the “good” cholesterol. Avocados also may be good for your gut biome. But they’re high in calories, so stick to recommended serving.
Ingredients for Avocado Toast
Bread slices – 2
Avocado – 1
Lemon Juice – 1 tbs
Butter – 1 tbs (softened)
Pepper – 1 tsp
Salt as needed
Directions
Avocado Paste
Cut the avocado into 2 slices.
Take out the seed.
Slice the avocado with knife and remove the skin.
Add avocado slices into a mixing bowl.
Pour the lemon juice.
Add pepper and salt in to the bowl.
Smash the avocado pieces into paste with the back of the spoon.
Avocado paste ready.
Toast Bread
Apply the softened butter to the bread (both sides).
Heat a pan in a medium flame.
Toast the bread until it changes to golden brown colour on both sides.
Cut the bread diagonally (as shown in picture).
Make Avocado Toast
Apply the avocado paste all over the toasted bread (one side only).
Fantastic அவகேடோ டோஸ்ட் ready.
Serve the toast with juice.
Notes
You may serve the toast with poached eggs and vegetables as a complete English breakfast.
I used multi-grain bread. You can use any type of bread of your choice.
