பனீர் 65 (Paneer 65)

Paneer 65 is a famous Indian vegetarian starter. This is very easy to prepare and kids favorite recipe. This recipe is one of the best side dish for veg fried rice and other variety rice. Paneer is calcium rich and also has fatty acids that helps burning quite a lot of fat.

Ingredients for Paneer 65

For Paneer Fry

Paneer – 200g
Corn flour – 1/4 cup
Rice flour – 1/4 cup 
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp 
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Curd – 2 tbs
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Water – 1/4 cup 
Oil for frying 

Sauce Ingredients

Oil – 3 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp 
Green chilli – 2 (slit)
Curry leaves – 1 spring 
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Tomato sauce/ ketchup – 2 tbs
Chilli sauce – 1 tbs
Curd – 2 tbs
Water – 2 tbs
Salt as needed 

Directions

Fry Paneer

Cube the paneer into thin slices. 
Add all the ingredients except paneer and oil.
Mix everything well and add the paneer slices. 
Heat oil in a frying pan. 
Let the paneer dip in the spice mix completely. 
Drop dipped paneer one by one.
Fry the paneer and take out in a paper towel. 
Drain the excess oil. 

Prepare Paneer 65

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, curry leaves and ginger garlic paste. 
Once leaves pops, add green chilli and sauté well.
Reduce the flame to medium.
Pour the ketchup, red chilli sauce, curd and salt. 
Mix everything well and add the fried paneer.
Stir the paneer until all the spices well coated over the paneer. 
Switch off flame when water evaporates.
Paneer 65 ready

Notes

Don’t over fry the paneer that becomes hard.
If you don’t want spicy, eliminate the chilli sauce. 
Must use the ketchup otherwise you don’t get the consistency.
