Mini Cinnamon Donut Muffin

Mini Cinnamon Donut Muffin is a delicious hybrid of a donut and a muffin. Sweet, fluffy, dipped in butter and rolled in cinnamon sugar. Cinnamon Donut Muffin is a quick time and easy to prepare recipe. This is my family favorite recipe because of its mild level of spice we wish to have this as breakfast. Cinnamon does have lot of health benefits as well.

Ingredients for mini cinnamon donut muffin

For Muffin

All purpose flour – 1 cup
Butter – 1/4 cup+brushing pan
Sugar – 1/2 cup 
Milk – 1/2 cup
Baking powder – 1 tsp 
Nutmeg – 3/4 tsp

For Dip & Spread

Butter – 1/4 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup 
Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp

Directions

Prepare Muffin

Pre-heat the oven to 375°F.
Take sugar in a bowl and pour melted butter into that.
Mix both until sugar dissolves. 
Add baking powder & nutmeg then pour milk. 
Whisk everything well and add sifted flour. 
Stir well and allow the ingredients to mix well.
Brush the pan with butter and scoop the batter. 
Fill half of the holes and place the pan in the preheated oven.
Bake the muffins for 15-20 minutes. 
Donut muffins are ready. 
Take all the muffins out when you can handle the heat.

Dip in Cinnamon mix

Melt the 1/4 cup butter in a bowl.
Mix cinnamon powder and sugar in a plate.
Dip a muffin in butter and roll over the cinnamon sugar. 
Place the Cinnamon Donut Muffin in plate.
Follow the same instructions for all the muffins.
Mini Cinnamon Donut Muffin ready.
Serve the muffins with coffee.

Notes

I used 24 cups mini muffins pan, you may use 12 cup or 6 cup muffins pan too.
Time may vary based on the pan you use and oven setting.
My oven took 13 minutes for 24 mini muffins.
